Having just spent a pleasant hour over WhatsApp being interviewed for a paper in the "Board Best Practice® series Advisory Boards" I thought I would share a thought or two.

Contributing through coaching is quite special.  You build a relationship, understand the person, explore new thinking and you always get something back.

Contributing further afield to documents that might be read by hundreds or if lucky thousands is an odd feeling.  Who will these people be?  Will any of them get in...

April has been such a busy month.

My technical advisory role is blossoming.  I have now had the pleasure of a number of interchanges where I can bring to bear my substantial knowledge of Aero Engines.

Advising clients as a GLG Council Member is very rewarding, particularly so because of the very pleased customers.

I have recently been asked for my coaching skills to be offered to a new in post Senior Engineer.

Am really excited about this opportunity.  It is one of the things I enjoy the most and I know from my experience that I have so much to offer.

I am finding that working with Quick Release is more than their trade mark "Quite Refreshing".  

I have been welcomed into the company with open arms and a warm smile.  A company not afraid to let it's people have fun while they do great things.  A company who celebrates the smallest of things with warm pride.

April came to an end with a Business Development Awards Dinner.  The room was a buzz with expectation and special guests.  The speeches were splendid and some quite hilarious.

This month I have been invited onto the Reaction Engines Technology Advisory Board.  I am so excited, proud and feel honoured to help guide this great team on their technology acquisition journey.

I am really looking forwards to my next visit.
